If you logged into the online portal for your Delta Dental plan in recent years, you may be eligible for a cash payment from a $12.67 million class action settlement — but the window to file closes soon.
What happened
The settlement resolves a class action, Michael Feeler v. Wyssta Services, Inc., alleging that Wyssta Services — which operates the my.deltadentalcoversme.com online healthcare portal for certain Delta Dental plan members — installed advertising and analytics tracking technologies, such as cookies and pixels, on the portal without users’ knowledge or consent. The suit claimed this violated the federal Electronic Communications Privacy Act and the Illinois Eavesdropping Statute.
Wyssta Services denies all the claims and any wrongdoing but agreed to settle.
Who is eligible
You are a Settlement Class Member if you are a person in the United States who held an account on my.deltadentalcoversme.com between January 23, 2021 and January 23, 2025.
What you can claim
Wyssta Services will pay up to $12,670,284 into a settlement fund. Each class member who submits a valid claim can receive a cash payment of up to $16.50. No proof or documentation is required — the payment amount may be reduced pro rata if the number of valid claims is high.
How to file before August 20
- File online at the official settlement website, WysstaServicesClassAction.com, using the “Submit Claim” option — you will need the Class Member ID from your email or mailed notice.
- Or print a claim form from the site’s Important Documents section and mail it to the settlement administrator, postmarked no later than the deadline.
- Filing online also lets you choose electronic payment (for example, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or ACH).
All claims must be submitted online or postmarked by August 20, 2026. The opt-out and objection deadlines are also August 20, 2026, and a final approval hearing is scheduled for September 9, 2026. Payments are distributed only after the court grants final approval and any appeals are resolved.
