Who may qualify
The court-authorized class covers people who were the subject of substantially similar postcards sent during the applicable FCRA limitations period. The class period runs from June 30, 2018 through December 3, 2023. Eligibility is tied to the specific postcard program, not every tenant-screening communication.
Filing and deadlines
The remaining fund will be divided equally among valid claimants after approved deductions. Online claims must be filed by 11:59 p.m. Pacific on September 22, 2026; mailed claims must be postmarked by then. The same date is the exclusion and objection deadline. Final approval is scheduled for December 8, 2026 at 2 p.m. in Newark, New Jersey.
