Overview

ApolloMD Business Services LLC agreed to pay $4.02 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging that a data security incident in May 2025 compromised personally identifiable and protected health information. The lawsuit claimed ApolloMD discovered suspicious activity in its IT network in May 2025, and an investigation revealed that an unauthorized third party may have accessed or acquired files containing sensitive patient information. The plaintiffs alleged ApolloMD failed to adequately safeguard patient data. ApolloMD denies wrongdoing and settled to avoid the costs and risks of continued litigation.
