Overview

A proposed class action settlement has been reached in Hasson v. Comcast Cable Communications, LLC and Comcast Corporation over a data breach in October 2023 in which a third party gained unauthorized access to customers' personal information. Settlement class members were sent a notice of the data breach on or around December 18, 2023 informing them that their personal information may have been compromised. Comcast denies wrongdoing and agreed to the settlement to resolve the litigation.
