Overview

The Walt Disney Company agreed to a $50 million partial settlement in an antitrust lawsuit brought by YouTube TV, DirecTV Stream and FuboTV plaintiffs. The settlement notice applies to the YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream classes; the FuboTV plaintiffs have not settled with Disney. The lawsuit alleges Disney engaged in conduct that raised streaming live pay television prices in violation of federal antitrust law and various state antitrust and consumer protection laws. Disney denies wrongdoing, and the court has not decided who is right.

Who qualifies

  • You purchased a YouTube TV subscription between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2026; or
  • You purchased a DirecTV streaming live pay TV subscription, including DirecTV Stream, DirecTV Now or AT&T TV Now, between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2026.

What you could receive

Class members who submit a timely, valid claim may receive a pro rata cash payment proportional to the length of their eligible YouTube TV and/or DirecTV streaming subscription. The settlement also provides certain non-monetary relief. The final payment amount depends on the approved distribution and valid claims.
