Up to $15 for an approved claim
Submit one timely, valid claim and attest to the required portal use and Facebook or Google account conditions. The notice does not promise that every claimant will receive the full $15.

Evernorth Health and MDLIVE agreed to a proposed settlement of a lawsuit alleging that the signed-in MDLIVE patient portal disclosed sensitive information and private communications to Google and Meta without consent. Evernorth is a health-services company, and MDLIVE operates a telehealth platform that lets patients connect with clinicians online. The dispute concerns activity after users signed into patient.mdlive.com, not every visit to a public Evernorth or MDLIVE webpage. The Circuit Court for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, Florida, preliminarily approved the settlement on August 28, 2026. The court certified a settlement class for settlement purposes only. It has not ruled that Evernorth or MDLIVE violated the law. Both defendants expressly deny the allegations and wrongdoing. A qualifying user must submit a valid claim by December 1, 2026 to seek a cash payment of up to $15. The claimant must attest that they used the signed-in portal during the class period and had an active Facebook or Google account. The $3.5 million cap also covers notice, administration, any court-approved attorneys' fees and expenses, and possible awards to the two class representatives, so no individual payment is guaranteed.

The controlling notice does not list credit monitoring, identity-restoration services, or medical benefits. Do not assume those benefits are included.
The court must grant final approval and any appeals must end before approved claims are paid. A January 6, 2027 hearing is scheduled.
An approved claimant may receive up to $15. The settlement uses a benefit cap of up to $3.5 million rather than a guaranteed per-person fund. That cap pays valid claims plus administration, notice, any court-approved legal fees and expenses, and possible class-representative awards. Payment follows final approval and resolution of any appeals. Claimants may select a check, PayPal, or Venmo. Checks expire 90 days after issuance.

An approved claim may receive up to $15. The actual payment is not guaranteed and remains subject to the settlement terms, valid claims, final approval, and the overall benefit cap.
The settlement class requires activity on patient.mdlive.com after signing in during the class period. A public-page visit alone does not match the stated definition.
The notice requires claimants to attest that they had an active Facebook and/or Google account during the relevant period because the lawsuit alleges disclosures to those companies.
You receive no settlement payment. Unless you validly exclude yourself by November 16, 2026, you also remain bound by the release if the settlement becomes final.
