Overview

A proposed settlement would resolve claims that personal and private health information was potentially accessed without authorization on MCNA systems between February 26 and March 7, 2023. The case is Crowe, et al. v. Managed Care of North America, Inc., et al., No. 0:23-cv-61065-AHS, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. The defendants deny the allegations and wrongdoing. The court has not decided that the defendants did anything wrong.

Who qualifies

  • You are living.
  • You were sent notice stating that your private information was potentially impacted by the MCNA data incident.
  • If the notice concerns a minor, the claim must be completed by the minor's parent or court-appointed legal guardian.

What you could receive

Settlement class members who remain in the settlement will automatically receive two years of medical data monitoring without submitting a claim form. A valid claim may also seek up to $2,500 for documented out-of-pocket losses, subject to a total cash-payment cap of $250,000 and the settlement's other limits. The same loss cannot be claimed if another source already reimbursed it.
