Penn Medicine agreed to a proposed settlement of claims that tracking pixels from Meta, Google, and other providers allegedly disclosed patients' personally identifiable information without consent. Penn Medicine denies wrongdoing. The case is Mohr, et al. v. The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania as Owner and Operator of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, No. 230102149, in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

  • You are not among the people or entities excluded by the court-authorized notice.

What you could receive

Settlement class members who submit valid, timely claim forms may receive a cash payment of up to $15. The payment remains subject to the settlement terms, final court approval, and any appeals.

How to file your claim

  1. 1Visit the official UPHS Pixel Settlement website and choose the online claim form.
  2. 2Enter the Unique ID and PIN from your mailed or emailed settlement notice.
  3. 3Complete the requested information and choose an available payment method.
  4. 4Submit the claim online by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on September 16, 2026, or mail a completed form postmarked by that date.
  5. 5Keep the confirmation code or a copy of the mailed form.
